WINNER: Best Female Director at Los Angeles Short Film Festival

Our short film, Coleslaw, continued its festival run this weekend with its West Coast premiere at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival. Nice Egg co-founder Heather McKinney also took home the award for Best Female Director at the festival.

Los Angeles Short Film Festival is always looking to discover unique voices with fresh perspectives and support the stories they tell. The festival is also proud to recognize talent both in front of and behind the camera.

“Coleslaw” was directed by Nice Egg co-founders Heather McKinney and Paris Brown, written by our frequent collaborator, the hilarious Todd Anderton, produced by McKinney, and stars Anderton, comedic actress extraordinaire Emily Gee, and the incomparable Christie Wallace of Sinisterhood.
